OUR TIP: According to the original text, the application of cold may also be suitable for inflammation and following a bruise to the knee or shoulder.

Radon bath

Radon bath – a traditional treatment with a unique character

One of the special features of the PALACE Hotel’s range of services is radon bathing. These time-limited baths utilise the natural rare gas radon in very low concentrations.

The first bath serves as a ‘trial’ session. A subsequent course of thermal baths is only possible with a medical prescription from a spa doctor in Gastein. Guests can enquire individually about the procedure and the conditions for undertaking it.

If you wish to include radon baths as part of a longer health stay, the PALACE Hotel offers treatment programmes lasting 7, 14 or 21 nights. These include a medical examination and, depending on the length of stay, 3, 6 or 10 radon baths.
